Daaiz ದಾಯ್ಜ್

Daaiz literally means "treasure." In the context of Ashawadi Prakashan, Daaiz represents a treasure trove of Konkani literature, culture, and its people.

The digital publication of Daaiz began in 2003, initiated by its editor, Valley Quadros, from Kuwait, initially as a collection of literary columns such as Editorial, Kathadaaiz, and Kavithadaaiz. In 2004, Bellevision.org extended its hosting support for a year. The Daaiz literary website was formally launched in Dubai in 2004 by noted Konkani critic and poet Andrew L. Dcunha at Sambhram, an event organized by Bellevision UAE.

Since then, Daaiz has undergone continuous transformation and evolution, growing from a collection of literary columns into a full-fledged digital literary platform. Over the years, it reached Konkani readers across 65 countries, creating a global space for the appreciation and dissemination of Konkani literature.

Daaiz.com remained actively engaged in publishing Konkani literature, predominantly in the Kannada script, until 2013.
